Bottle now lets you automatically respond to messages that contain specific keywords. This helps customers get answers instantly and eliminates the need to manually reply to repetitive texts.

 

How to set up an auto-responder

  1. Open the Automations tab

  2. Click + Automation

  3. Select Workflow as the automation type

  4. Name your automation

  5. Set the trigger to Receive SMS

  6. Choose Match Text and select a condition operator

  7. Enter the keyword or phrase you want to match

  8. (Optional) Add additional conditions to match multiple keywords

  9. Enter your auto-response message

  10. Click Save

That’s it. Your customers will now receive instant answers to common questions, and you’ll spend far less time responding to repetitive messages.
