Viewing and Using Packing Cards

  • 1 mth ago

This guide will walk you through the new feature known as "Packing Cards," which allows you to manage your orders more efficiently by tracking their packing status. Though "Packing Cards" is not its official name, it offers a valuable way to organize your orders into "Unpacked" and "Packed" categories.

Steps:

  1. Access Your Orders:

    • Start by navigating to your calendar, where you can see your orders listed on specific dates as well as summarized in a list format.
  2. Select the Date of Interest:

    • Click on the date when your orders are scheduled. This example uses the 20th as the date with scheduled orders.
  3. Understanding the New Tabs:

    • Once you select the date, you'll find two new tabs under "Orders and Carts": "Unpacked Orders" and "Packed Orders." These tabs allow you to view orders that have yet to be packed and those already packed, respectively.
  4. View Unpacked Orders:

    • Click on the "Unpacked Orders" tab to see a list of orders pending packaging. Each order is represented as a card displaying key details, such as the contents of the order (e.g., a stack of pancakes with chocolate chip toppings, chicken and rice with a regular portion size).
  5. Mark Orders as Packed:

    • As you process each order, you can mark it as packed by selecting the appropriate option on the order's card. This action moves the order to the "Packed Orders" tab, indicating it has been packaged.
  6. Review Packed Orders:

    • To see a list of orders that have been marked as packed, click on the "Packed Orders" tab. Here, you can review each packed order and, if necessary, mark an order as not packed to return it to the unpacked orders list.
