Introduction
In this article, we'll walk through how to use the filters inside of Bottle to filter out cusotmers who haven't ordered in a specific amount of time. This will help ensure you're keeping your contact lists clean as well as help you to retarget customers who haven't ordered in a while with marketing campaigns.

  • Navigate to the Customers Tab: Click on the three dots in the upper left corner of your Bottle backend and click on 'Customers'.
  • Select the membership list you'd like to filter OR create a new list by scrolling down to Smart lists and clicking '+List'.
  • Once in your list: click on 'Contact Filters' under 'Filters' and select 'Customer Last Ordered'
  • You will then select "on or before" from the dropdown and then input the amount of time you'd like to go back to capture all orders before a specific time period. For example, if you want to capture all customers who haven't ordered in 90 days, you'd input '90' in the second box after "on or before".
  • Now that you have your accurate list: you can utilize it to analyze orders, retarget customers by using the automations tab, or changing their membership tier so they are no longer receiving weekly text messages.

With these steps in place, you can retarget customers who haven't ordered in a specific amount of time, move memberships around for customers who haven't ordered in a specific amount of time, or just analyze your order and customer patterns.
