What does each list filter do?

So you want to find a subset of your customer base. To do it, you're using Bottle smart list feature! In this article, we'll explain what each filter does/looks for so you can use them to get as close to the customer set as you want! Many of these may have to be combined to find what you're looking for. If you need assistance figuring out what filters to add or think a new one could be added, please contact team@bottle.com.

 

  • Store: helps to identify carts from a specific store
  • Customer last edited the cart: helps identify customers who have made changes to their carts within a certain number of days
  • Customer has an abandoned cart: helps to identify customers who have left items in their cart without completing the purchase.
    • Abandoned Cart Definition: An abandoned cart is a cart that has at least one product in it. This cart is unpaid order, and the customer who created it has not paid for an order since.
  • Membership tier: helps to identify customers who belong to a specific membership tier
  • Paid orders: identifies customers who have completed a purchase and paid for their order.
  • Has order with specific product: Finds any order paid or unpaid containing a certain product
  • Orders with a refund status: identifies orders that have a refund status, whether that status is fully refunded, partially refunded, or not refunded at all
  • Customer belongs to any membership: finds customers that hold any membership under your store - excludes contacts who have never ordered with you
  • Paid order transaction time: Find orders paid before or after a certain date and time
  • Order production date: Finds all carts and orders with a selected production date you specify
  • Order fulfillment arrival: Finds all carts that have a certain arrival date
  • Carts with production dates matching a drop: Find all the carts associated with a certain drop in your dashboard
  • Carts for a specific drop: This filter gets all carts and orders for the specified drop
  • Fulfillment method: Find all carts and orders that have a specific fulfillment method selected
  • Fulfillment method type: Finds all carts and orders that have a certain fulfillment type selected.
    • For example: I want to find all carts that have ever been delivered by my business.
  • Cart fulfillment days from now: Finds all carts that have a selected fulfillment a number of days from the current date.
    • Note: Negative numbers will look into the past, and 0 will display all carts for the current day
  • Cart arrival days from now: Finds all carts that have a selected arrival a number of days from the current date.
  • Customer first ordered: Specify a date and a direction to look for when any of your contacts made their first order. 
  • Customer last ordered: Specify a date and a direction to look for when any of your customers made their most recent order
  • Membership tier: Find orders belonging to a certain membership
  • Mailing list: Find list of customers who signed up through the signup form content block
  • Contact has this tag: Finds all contacts with the specified tag
  • Customer belongs to any membership: Shows all customers who have any membership
  • Customer does not belong to any membership: Shows all contacts in your list who hold no membership or have selected the opt-out option. 
  • Contact created with specific date: Specify a date and a direction to look for when a contact was added to your account
  • Contact created with relative date: Specify the number of days and a direction to look for when a contact was added to your account.
    • For example: If I want to find all contacts created within the past week, I would say “on order after” ‘7’ days ago.
  • Has ordered this many times within a specific range: Specify the number of days and a direction to look for any contact that has ordered the specified number of times.
    • For example: If I want to find a list of customers that have ordered at least twice before the last two weeks, I would put “greater than or equal to” ‘0’ “on or before” ‘14’ days ago. 
  • Has ordered this many times: Finds any contact that has ordered the specified number of times.
    • For example: If I wanted to find a customer who has ordered exactly three times, I would put “equals” '3'.
  • Customer with subscription renewal date: Shows customers that have a cart subscription date attached to their account.
  • Customer churned: Gives list of contacts that downgraded their membership within a certain time frame.
  • Customer changed membership: Gives list of customers who moved between two specified memberships within a certain timeframe.
